OpenEnd Fund Financial Glossary

What is it? A mutual fund that is formed to continuously issue and buy back shares to meet investor demand. The share price is determined by the market value of the securities held by the funds portfolio, and it may be higher or lower than the original purchase price. Open-end funds can be load or no-load (see Portfolio, Load Fund, No Load Fund).
